Position:  CLOUD APPLICATION ENGINEER (POWER APPS)

We are looking for a Cloud Application Engineer (PowerApps) who will be primarily responsible for delivering quality solutions using the Microsoft’s Azure suite of tools, focusing specifically on PowerApps and Dataverse. You will join a team of highly experienced cloud architects and technologists in an organization that is a Gold-certified Microsoft Azure technology services provider that will provide cloud strategy, design, implementation, and managed services for clients across multiple industries in North America.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience as an Applications Developer/Engineer
• Understanding of Power Platform licensing and how capacity is assigned and consumed 
• Understanding of Standard vs Premium connectors 
• Office 365 security and security of Power Apps users 
• Dataverse security role definition 
• Determination of Model driven vs. canvas apps based on business requirements 
• Multiple environment best practices 
• Dynamics 365 experience and knowledge of its relationship to Power platform 
• Data modeling within Dataverse 
• Understanding of difference between transactional and reporting data repositories 
• Ability to provide guidance and recommendations with reporting best practices regarding 
• Dataverse vs. reporting data repository 
• Understanding of performance optimization with on-premises data vs Dataverse 
• Ability to design Intuitive user interface (graphic design not necessary) 
• Development of Power Automate workflows for backend processing 

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications

• Some experience/exposure to Power BI reporting
• Experience configuring on-premises data gateway 
• Creation of power platform custom connectors 
• Software development expertise outside of the Power Platform 
• C#/.Net development Web/client-side library development
• Relevant Certifications are a plus
